Winning Bidder Notifications (WBN's)

Auction Hawk's WBN's are sent immediately upon closing (or time of purchase) for each listing that you launched through Auction Hawk. Fixed price, Buy-it-now, and eBay Store listings are supported.  Remember, the listing must be listed through Auction Hawk in order for WBN's to work.

Here's what you need to know about WBN's:
 

• WBN's are enabled in your user preferences.

• The outgoing e-mails include:

1. Your message text
2. A link to the item
3. The title, bids, and closing cost
4. Shipping and insurance information
5. A subtotal and total
6. An invoice link, if applicable
7. Your signature.

• Your signature will be your Company Name if you have specified one in your user profile.  Otherwise, it will be your given name.

• The status of your listing is marked as "E-mail sent" once the WBN is sent.

• WBN's are text only, to ensure that any buyers lacking the capability to read HTML mail can read your instructions. (Any other e-mails you send can be HTML.)

• Auction Hawk Checkout will enhance your customer's experience and allow you to combine purchases and integrate PayPal and card purchases, among other benefits.

• PayPal users: You should disable PayPal's "auto-logo insertion" and "WBN" services, to make sure your items are correctly marked as "Paid" on Auction Hawk. The buyer's visit to PayPal must be initiated by the PayPal links and icons that we provide. If you use PayPal's buttons, your items will not be marked as Paid automatically.
