Spicing up E-mails using Macro (text) substitution

Although all closing-price & related information is included automatically in outgoing e-mails, you may wish to customize your e-mails further -- to look as though the e-mail was sent personally by you, instead of by our robot.  To do this, you should use macro substitution.

If you wish to write a letter such as this:

Dear Abby,

Congratulations on winning item 123456789, which closed for $24.99, with 5 bidders!

Your order will be shipped by UPS Parcel.  Please add $5 shipping for the first item, and $2 for each additional item purchased.  Your item weighs 5 pounds and 0 ounces.

Kind regards,

... then just write the message like this:

Dear Abby,

Congratulations on winning item (ITEM_NUMBER), which closed for (PRICE), with (NUMBER_OF_BIDS) bidders!.

Your order will be shipped by (SHIP_SERVICE).  Please add (SHIP_ONE) for the first item, and (SHIP_EXTRA) for each additional item purchased.  Your item weighs (WEIGHT_MAJOR) pounds and (WEIGHT_MINOR) ounces.
