Shipping, Handling, and Insurance
Auction Hawk supports just about every kind of shipping, handling, and insurance method you want to use. Here is a list of features and how each works.
If you are going to do any kind of SH&I processing at all, make sure you have specified your shipping zip code in your user preferences.
Things to know about Shipping:
You may specify zero shipping, fixed shipping, or use eBay's ship calculator.
You may adjust the SH&I costs at any time, even after listing.
You may offer your customer a reduced shipping cost for multiple items purchased.
Your WBN's will automatically include your SH&I information.
Your WBN's will contain an invoice link which will combine multiple purchases automatically.
If you use zero SH&I costs, your WBN's will not contain SH&I totals and will not have an invoice link.
Things to know about Insurance:
If you use eBay's shipping calculator, the insurance option will automatically change to "Insurance is calculated." It cannot be modified, since eBay allows only this one option.
If you choose optional or required insurance, you must supply a value during listing. However, you may change the value of insurance after an item sells, by clicking on the insurance value in your Sold Folder.
Also, enabling Auction Hawk Checkout gives you some pizzazz:
Your customers can choose whether they want insurance.
Your customers can choose optional state sales tax.
