How does it work?   Is it easy to set up?

As soon as you sign up, we walk you through the eBay authorization process, so that we have your approval to place a small 88x33 image (shown below) in an obscure place at the very bottom of your listings, near the footer. It will immediately begin to track your listings. Then, just log into your account (above right) and start enjoying. That's all you have to do.

If you prefer to add the tags yourself, you can turn off auto-tagging right after you join. Note: If you wish to have invisible tags you have to have a pay account.

If you have a pay account, you get an "invisible" code to use.

Do you track ALL my listings, including auctions, BIN, FP, and Store?

   After you join, within hours we will begin to track your current listings (all types). We also track visits to the store itself. Basically, if you see our tiny counter, that means it's being tracked.

Will my search rankings be affected with Best Match, Google, etc.?

   Absolutely not. We are not doing anything fancy, just putting a tracking counter on your listings at the bottom. Our service isn't tied to those other services in any way. Only Google can affect Google, and only eBay can affect Best Match, etc. If anything, sales will go up since you are monitoring actions your buyers take and making adjustments.

I have several eBay accounts. Can I merge them?

   No problem-o. Not shown in the demonstration site is your Dashboard, which has up to ten (10) slots open for other websites or eBay UserId's in the future. As you sign up for additional accounts, your dashboard summarizes them all on one page. Each eBay UserId or website is tracked independently.

Do I have to give you my eBay Password?

   We are an official eBay Developer. Therefore we don't need your eBay Password. So we don't ever ask for it.

Why do you think that you are the best full-featured analytics service on the market?

Can I use your site to track my blog, website?

   Absolutely. In fact, we are a full-service competitor with Google Analytics in every respect. And we are an eBay certified developer, and are therefore fully integrated.

What is the "Google maps integration?"

   You can see your buyers' locations on a Google map. If have a website and use the checkout integration, then we will not only substitute the IP address with the name of your buyer, we will make an icon on the Google map so that you have the reference point. You can also use World Spy, this will show you where all your buyers are at one particular instant. Oh, and not to forget the extremely useful Locale Map.

Okay, so how exactly can you help my sales?

This is up to your own intuition and observation skills, but here are just a few ideas among hundreds.

1. "I see that my dresses get a lot of visits from Japan. I should sell overseas."
2. "My pink templates sell 20% more product."
3. "My products sell best on Sunday nights."
4. "I see most buyers leave out the apostrophe on "Wrigley's". I should add "Wrigleys" to my listing titles."
5. "A lot of my buyers set their browser to Spanish as the default."
6. "I used custom goals to perform A/B testing, and method B attracted more buyers.
7. "Hello Robert, thanks for your purchase. I noticed you spent a lot of time looking at my other three items. Are you interested in a discounted price for all items?"

Can you help me analyze checkout "funnels"?

   Absolutely. Here's how it works. You define one "goal" for each page in the path that leads to your checkout page. Usually, this is at least three pages. We table the percentage drop-offs for you. Or you can see the trends in a chart and then overlay those results to a previous month.

You aren't going to ruin my listings with advertisements, are you?

   An exact replica of what will appear on your listings is seen in the first question above. It's subtle -- and it will go at the bottom of your listings. And, it will never reappear to clutter any of your descriptions, when you're adding our special HTML code manually or letting it tag automatically. Our software will never, ever "double-tag" a listing, since we always check the description prior to tagging.

How can I tell who is who? In the demonstration site, all it shows is an IP address.

You can assign a name to your visitors, so that when you surf the interface, you will see their name. You must have your own checkout system, however, in order to use this feature.

Do you delete my data?

Free accounts keep data 3 months. Pay accounts keep data indefinitely. You can also download data to CSV (Microsoft Excel) and XML formats. The only time we would ever delete data otherwise is if you cancel the service, at which point your data are deleted immediately as per our privacy policy.

Can I get the site in other languages?

   We support 14 languages, you configure them in your Preferences.
